cathyCathy’s legacy of service will live on through a gift in her will

Cathy started volunteering at Mercy Health about 15 years ago after retiring from teaching. She started in the gift shop then added more hours at the front information desk. She’s also very involved in the hospital’s Auxiliary which raises money through functions and events.

“I’ve gotten to know the staff and I get to hear about what’s going on,” Cathy said. “Through volunteering, I get to see so many good works and deeds at the hospital.”

When it came time to write her will, those good works inspired Cathy to include a bequest gift for the hospital to be used where and how it’s most needed. 

“There is so much good work, I feel that whatever little bit I can give, will help in some little way,” Cathy said.
